invasion leaves two residents wounded

Two men were shot and wounded early Friday morning during a home
invasion.
A group of possibly four men forced their way into a home in the
4500 block of Northeast 22nd Road just after midnight, shot two
occupants and robbed the home, said Sgt. Andy Pallen, spokesman
for the Fort Lauderdale Police Department.
Pallen said both occupants were rushed to Broward General
Medical Center, one in critical, but stable condition. Pallen
declined to identify either of the shooting victims, but said
their injuries appeared to be non-life-threatening. He said one
man was in his 40s and the other in his 70s.
Police are still looking for their attackers. |
